Colonygrid exposes the parameters, regions, reviewer decisions, method bounds, and math behind a result. The automatic count is never silently mixed with manual changes.

Capture

Use the system Photos picker or explicitly invoke the camera. Imported images are normalized and embedded metadata is removed.

Segment

Apply Otsu or manual thresholding, polarity, circular ROI, morphology, area, shape, and edge controls.

Review

Inspect connected regions and record reviewer additions or exclusions separately from the automatic result.

Document

Calculate CFU/mL, compare replicates, and generate PDF, CSV, JSON, and annotated-image evidence.
